From the ancient Preanger mountains of West Java, where Arabica coffee has been cultivated for over three centuries, comes this exceptional Green Grade 1 Triple-Picked lot. Grown by smallholder farmers at 1,200–1,400 meters in fertile black volcanic soil, the cool, temperate climate of Western Java produces a cup with unmistakable classical character.

Processed using the semi-washed method — a meticulous technique that removes the cherry skin while retaining some mucilage during drying — this coffee achieves a notably cleaner cup profile than traditional wet-hulled Sumatrans, while preserving the earthy depth and structure Java is known for. The Typica and Ateng varieties (Ateng being a natural Timor Hybrid cross of Arabica and Robusta) contribute to its sturdy body and nuanced complexity. Graded G1 TP means fewer than five defects per 300-gram sample — as clean as green coffee gets.
